Sclerder Abbey

THE ABBEY

Sclerder Abbey in Cornwall is a beautiful former Carmelite monastery half an hour by car from Plymouth and just ten minutes from the sea. When the sisters left Cornwall they invited the Chemin Neuf Community to carry on their work here of prayer and community life.

It is a perfect place to be silent and still, listening to the voice of the Lord. You are welcome to come for a day or more to enjoy the peace and beauty of the place and spend time with God.
