The first “International Africa Week” took place in Ivory Coast at the Tiberias center, from June 28 to July 3 2021. During this meeting, the participants were able to address important themes for the African continent and, more broadly, the place of the family, formation and the role of our cultures and histories.

This meeting followed another event which was a great blessing for the Chemin Neuf community in Africa: the life commitment of two couples and six consecrated brothers and sisters, as well as the diaconal ordination of six brothers and priestly ordination of three brothers. Our brother Albert Zongo was among the three new priests. He will be serving the parish of Cockfosters this year!
