Advent Retreat – Online
Spiritual Exercises according to St Ignatius of Loyola
“We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28) So says the Apostle Paul. We have all been suprised by the global coronavirus pandemic. During this difficult experience, the Church has realized that the Holy Spirit is not confused by the Internet! God can do wonders in our lives even when, for any reason, we have to stay at home.
Online retreats are a wonderful gift for many of us. Whether you are unable to leave home because of sickness or family commitment, too busy to take four days off in a retreat house, or simply because you just cannot step back from your daily life, you are welcome to join an online experience.
We offer different kinds of retreat online throughout the year. Some last one day, some seven; some include daily talks, others don’t; most offer the possibility to meet a spiritual companion. All are based on the experience of the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola, with a strong focus on praying with the Bible.
Do not be afraid if this is unfamiliar to you, you’ll be guided to make the most of your online experience. Just pick the content that fits your availability and spiritual need best, we’ll do all we can to make it fruitful for you.
“When you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
