Every first Sunday of the month, KTO and the Chemin Neuf community offer a live worship service from Saint-Louis Church in Vincennes at 9:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to invite family, friends or brothers and sisters from the community to share an hour of prayer led by the young people of the community and Father Vincent Breynaert, interspersed with meditations and invocations of the Holy Spirit.
One of the worship leaders, Aglaé, shares her experience of a remote prayer vigil with us.

The countdown is on: 3, 2, 1… Then the silent start. On set, nothing has changed, and yet thousands of listeners are now there, behind the camera.
The first live broadcast is rather unsettling for me: how can I praise with others I cannot see? Nothing allows me to imagine all those faces, those hearts turned towards the Lord. And yet, the control room begins to send us certain requests for intercession left in the chat.
The faithful Spirit is there, reassuring me. ‘Lord, I am not capable, but with You I can do anything.’ First, this heart-to-heart with the Father, which will then open up to others.
Over the months, the live broadcasts become a torrent of grace from the Spirit. In addition to letting go of my weaknesses, I learn a new way of being with Him: listening to Him and opening my heart to Him. I have learned to remain humble and vulnerable before God, but also before others. I have tasted the beauty of relying on my brothers and sisters to ‘be’ with God, to pray with their prayers, to be one with them in order to enter into the communion of the Church. The Shepherd led his sheep into the midst of the flock afterwards carrying her on his shoulders.
So it is an ever-increasing freedom that I have discovered. A freedom in boldness. A freedom in unity. A deep joy in simply being able to stand before the Father, with my brothers and sisters on the plateau, but also with those who follow throughout the world. A joy in being united to praise His Name and to set ourselves in motion together in following His call.”
