The Chemin Neuf community’s mission for 14-18 year olds offers sessions for teenagers seeking meaning, fraternity, or even spirituality. Laure Delpech, a consecrated sister and leader of this mission, shares with us what motivates her and what she has witnessed.

In the 14-18 year old mission, we regularly organize events to enable teenagers to experience fraternity and prayer, allowing them to discover God’s love and grow in their relationship with Him. We can testify to the fact that these places offered to them, where they can share their faith, but also their questions and doubts, allow them to grow in the freedom and joy of knowing that they are loved and lovable!

In France, we organize an annual week-long retreat for young people in their junior and senior years of high school to help them go further in their journey with the Lord. It’s quite a challenge for most of them: daily talks, times of prayer with the Word of God, daily spiritual guidance… Many discover with joy and gratitude a setting that allows them to grow spiritually!

This year in Tigery, France, the theme of the week will be sexuality and emotional life, an important and delicate topic during these times of change and development. Our desire is that they may invite the Lord into these areas of their lives: may the Holy Spirit guide us and breathe on these young people who are seeking the true source of Love!
