Every year in January, the leaders of the Chemin Neuf Community from each country gather for one week of prayer and meetings. This week is very important both to listen to what the Holy Spirit has to tell us today and let God lead us as one body, as well as for the organisation of the life of the Community in its practical aspects.
This year, due to the pandemic, this week was held online. The disappointment of not being able to meet was overcome by the joy of having more people being able to join, as well as more time to meet in small groups. As well as other things that we learned through this new situation, this new global experience will probably be of importance for the future of our Community.
More than anything, this event is an occasion to pray for unity between our countries.
